Guitar Lessons

If you’re looking to get your metal guitar chops up, look no further. I have eight years of experience playing metal guitar and have performed both original music and cover music of bands like Between the Buried and Me, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, Gojira, and much more. I will teach techniques such as sweep picking, alternate picking, tapping, legato, but can also tailor the lessons to songwriting and riffwriting if that is what you are looking for. I offer both 30 minute and 60 minute lessons, as well as live guitar performance in the Boston MA, and New York City areas. Contact for inquiries.

Artistic Statement

While there is definitely something to be said about recording and mixing your own music, there is a great joy in working on music that is not your own. I feel a vibrant sense of community by producing other artists' work, especially in the rock and metal fields. If I can deliver the polished and crushing sound that an artists wants out of their mix, the same way I would’ve loved for someone like Dave Otero or Jordan Valeriote to have mixed my metal songs when I was first starting out, then I feel I have done my job and given back to this amazing metal community that I share with my peers.

When collaborating, having the technical chops as a producer and mixer is critical to meet the demands of your artist. I believe that after mixing countless demos and fully released songs of my own bands, that I have developed a sound to my own mixes that is both unforgiving and heavy, but also transparent and emotional. These are qualities I seek to give to more metal music, as I feel that my mixing approach is something that can enhance great songs that are brought my way.
